Arrive in Siem Reap via Casino Bus through Poipet..

My journey, leg1

Upon arriving in Siem Reap we walked towards Wat Bo Road where I had read there were many backpackers.

We dropped into 5 different backpackers asking for the price before we eventually settled on Two Dragons for $10/night for a double room with fan. It was a great place with friendly and helpful staff, good food and a great common area to relax.

Two Dragons recommended the Khmer Kitchen for our first dinner in Cambodia, so after a  shower we were refreshed and ready for some delicious Cambodian food.. There are two ‘Khmer Kitchen’ restaurants in Siem Reap and we ended up in one  in the middle of some markets, however, there is one a bit further out.  Anyway, the restaurant was cheap and the food amazing!
